Website analytics — separate from the extensions

This section applies to siteegress.com, not to browsing inside the SiteEgress or Agent Guard extensions. Effective September 9, 2026, this website offers Google Analytics 4 using Google Tag G-HCP0N20QM3. It loads only after you choose Allow analytics, or return with an unexpired saved consent. Choosing Essential only leaves the Google tag unloaded.

After consent, Google receives website usage information such as page views, visit timing and device/browser details, as well as the connection IP address required to receive requests. Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies. We configure advertising storage, advertising user data, personalization and Google Signals as disabled; there are no advertising pixels in this build.

The website initialization supplies a page address without its query string or fragment and only the referrer origin. It does not attach extension reports, prompts, forms, passwords, cookie values or raw destination IPs from either extension. Google still processes analytics identifiers and network metadata; this is not an anonymous or fully local service.

Your choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Configured Analytics cookies expire after up to 180 days and may refresh during permitted visits. You can reopen Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops this implementation, attempts to remove its _ga cookies and reloads the page; it does not erase information already sent to Google. Other Google data retention depends on the Analytics property settings and Google’s terms.

A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal keeps this integration disabled, even with a prior saved allowance. Local development and preview hostnames do not load the Google tag. Questions or data requests: [email protected].
