SiteEgress extension support

Installation

Chrome Web Store installs automatically. For developer builds, Load unpacked requires an extracted directory whose first level contains manifest.json; it cannot select a ZIP file.

No report appears

Refresh pages that were open before installation. SiteEgress cannot inspect chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, or other restricted documents.

Unexpected findings

Review the Evidence view. SiteEgress distinguishes observed, declared, matched, and heuristic evidence and does not certify malicious intent.

Report export

Use the export menu to create JSON, CSV, standalone HTML, or a printable report.
